Choosing this option means that you are quite serious about your improvement, so as your coach, I’ll provide a comprehensive 1-hour lesson tailored to your needs. Before the session, you will be required to send me 10 of your games. I’ll use these to assess your strengths and weaknesses and develop a personalized, long-term training plan to help you achieve your chess goals.
Explanation:
- The games need to be played on slower time control, meaning 30 minutes per player or more (with or without addition is up to you). The point is to be serious while playing and not to have big pressure from having little time (for example blitz time controls such as 5 or 3 minutes per player), so the longer the time control, the better;
- Games that are played in-person over a chess board are better if you have ones like that (they shouldn’t be older than half a year);
- In the form below, please give the following information;
- General information about you such as name and surname, age, gender, country;
- Your chess background such as how much time have you been playing chess, approximately how much time you are dedicating to training chess per day/week and what are your goals in chess. If you have a FIDE rating or any online rating such as chess com or from lichess, please state it. You can also add any other information that you think is important;
- If the games you are supposed to send me have been played online, state your account and send me the links of those games. If they are played in-person, let me know and I will guide you with instructions.
* With submitting the form, you are automatically contacting me, so please state the day and time you would like to schedule the lesson on. Try to schedule at least several days in advance, while if the time spot is already taken, I will timely inform you.
* Keep in mind that the lesson can last a bit over an hour if it’s required (for example finishing a discussion), so please consider being available for a bit more than an hour when scheduling.
